Paintball anyone?
As BuyBack Solutions embarks on our journey to become fully R2 certified, we know that this is going to be a rigorous and meticulous process. A lot of hard work and attention to detail goes into the process of becoming R2 certified and it takes an “all-hands” effort from each of our employees to make sure that every standard is being adhered to at all times. Sometimes this means long hours, double checking our work and guaranteeing that we are fully wiping our mobile devices to D.o.D. and e-Steward standards as well as ensuring our internal policies and procedures lineup with the standards set in place by the R2 certification board.
The good news is, we have been doing all of these things since day one. But it takes a certain level of integrity and commitment to the job in order to keep these things in place every single day. BuyBack Solutions recognizes the hard work of our team and their level of commitment to their jobs and our Mission as a whole of responsible cell phone recycling, data security, corporate cell phone recycling and ethical cell phone buyback . Working here is very much like being part of a family and we all pitch in to help each other when anyone is having a hard time completing the task at hand or runs into an issue that they can’t resolve on their own. Everyone here is constantly looking out for one another and we continually push each other to be the best we can, everyday.
We also know that hard work can be draining, especially when gearing up for a lengthy and intense audit to become fully R2 certified. Recognizing the hard work everyone puts in on a daily basis, we decided to reward our BuyBack Solutions family with a day of “relaxation”. On Monday April 30, 2018, we took our entire team to Epic Paintball in Oklahoma City for a fun filled day of releasing those work tensions and paintball for the entire day.
The BuyBack Solutions Paintball day was a huge success. Everyone was able to spend some quality time away from the daily grind and have some fun. It was intense at times, exciting but thoroughly a good time. We know that if you work hard, you have to be able to play hard as well. This is part of our business model. Having fun is very much a part of our internal policies. If you don’t love what you do and why you’re doing it, why do it at all?
So as we take the next step in our R2 certification, our employees are revitalized with a newfound purpose to focus on the task at hand and get the job done every single day. But they also know, that their hard work is and has been recognized and always rewarded.
